Mike Rolls

Mike has been a property professional for over 30 years and has specialised in development since the early 1980’s. He has been instrumental in initiating and implementing a large number of projects including GreenPark Reading (planning permission for over 2.5m sq ft), Southside Reading, Kennet Valley Park (a proposal for 7,500 homes including supporting facilities), the Forum at Solent Business Park and many other similar projects which are setting the standards for new developments in their respective areas. He particularly specialises in dealing with complex site assembly and planning situations.

Prior to joining Horstonbridge, Mike headed up the UK Development Team at Prudential Property Investment Managers Ltd, the property arm of the Prudential Corporation. PRUPIM manage over £11bn of property assets and have a large development programme covering science parks, business parks, town centre offices, shopping centres and, latterly, residential.

David Griffiths

David has over 25 years’ property investment, development and project management experience. Until 1994 he was a Director of Grosvenor Square Properties Group Plc with special responsibilities for property development activities on large mixed use projects such as the Capital Waterside development in Cardiff Bay. That scheme, in particular, involved complex negotiations with a wide variety of interest groups and both Local and Regional Government Agencies and officials. The projects included Office, Retail, Residential, Leisure and Industrial uses.

In 1994, he commenced trading on his own account forming David Griffiths & Co. providing development management services for a number of institutional and private clients including the Oxford Science Park Joint Venture (Magdalen College & Prudential Assurance) for whom Horstonbridge continue to act. To date nine projects have been completed at the Science Park, having a total construction value in excess of £45m. Further projects have also been taken to the planning stage.
