| After
studying Geography at Oxford University Ed started his career in
property development with Countryside Properties. In 2005 he joined
PRUPIM, the property arm of the Prudential as a Development Surveyor.
Ed's experience has included leading residential and commercial
development projects, and he has had a particular focus on strategic
land projects such as the 8,000 home extension to Fareham in Hampshire,
where he dealt with detailed landowner negotiations, master planning
and planning promotion. Whilst at PRUPIM he was also involved in
setting up St Edward Homes, a residential Joint Venture with Berkeley
Homes.
In 2009, following a gap year which included 5 months in Mongolia
doing voluntary work and a trek to Everest Base Camp, Ed joined
Laxton Properties to concentrate on new business opportunities
and the expansion of the company. In 2010 the development management
aspects of Laxton Properties and Horstonbridge combined in Horstonbridge
Development Management Ltd.
